    Description

My intentions were based on the walleye angler ( currently 41 states and most of Canada have walleye in their lakes and rivers) but can be used for all game fish that go in the boat live well or the cooler. Whatever is used to keep your catch alive. Sauger, perch, crappie, bass, pike, catfish; just to name a few freshwater fish. All species that have a limit, saltwater game fish included. How many times have you been out for a day of fishing with your two buddies and with any luck get into a nice bunch of fish that have a length limit? You've already told the other two to keep track of how many go in the "well". The day's over: time to head in. You threw quite a few small ones back and you've kept quite a few, figuring you had your limit, but are you sure? How many times did you have to take a "time out" to pull the catch out and physically count them, putting stress on the catch by handling them or taking a sharp dorsal fin or tooth in the hand or finger. OUCH!!, or head in and have the warden standing on the dock to check licenses and limits. BEEN THERE,DONE THAT! With the Fish Ballz you will know at a glance how many are in the live well. Example: Three anglers, four fish limit = 12. Lip or gill hook the fish before putting them in the well and when the twelve ballz are gone, you know exactly how many you have. I mentioned earlier about putting stress on the fish; this is where the real beauty comes in: the ballz float and will be at the top. Rake your fingers through the top water of your live well and snag the ballz through your fingers and lift out. No need to touch the fish or throw them in the fish bag (eliminating the smelly bag that never totally dries out in the boat) and carry the catch over to the cleaning table. Also great for picture posing. I've looked at what some of the old timers have made and works for them, but I wanted something  that would stand up to the task at hand and last. Bobbers, electrical wire and shower hooks are a cheap way to go, but the wire corrodes and the bobbers get stepped on and the hooks are flimsy. Fish Ballz are handmade and hand assembled with top quality material using one inch hardwood balls which are hand drilled and coated to preserve them, aluminum sleeves that are hand cut, filed and crimped. Heavy, high visible line for buoyancy and strength.( line only comes in one color in the diameter I use.) I have tried snaps from every aspect and have come up with the conclusion that they are all made and stamped in China. They all look the same. All my snaps are aligned and crimped. Some anglers like to know which fish they caught and kept, and for these folks, upon request, free of charge, I will mark each set with a high quality, waterproof vinyl tape that will be placed on the snap plate. Color will vary. In equal denomination: 12 divided by 3 = 4. Three will be color coded and one will remain silver. 12 divided by 4 = 3. Two will be color coded and one will remain silver. Please specify if you choose to have this done. I know this is important to some anglers and this is why I offer this service.  To the serious angler who doesn't have everything, give these a shot. I know you'll like them. I'd appreciate any feedback or reviews on my product. Fish Ballz make great gifts. I have sold over 20 sets to fellow fishermen who did or didn't have a clue what they were used for, but wouldn't fish without them now after using them.
Grab 'em by the Ballz!    What's in your Live well ?
Tip: Rinse off after each outing along with your fillet knife to keep the snaps looking good. The acid in fish is hard on metal. It won't effect the operation of the snaps, but rusting may occur. A shot of WD-40 on the snaps now and again will also help.
    Good Fishing.
