    This is American Flyer Lionel GP 9 Factory Cutaway Sample.
    I bought this in the 90s out of the Richard Kughn Collection. Former Owner of Lionel Trains. Stout Auctions held the sale. The only paperwork I got with it was the lot # and sale amount which I no longer have.
    The body and chassis are gray primer. You can see the outline of the hood fans that were taken off.
    I did not get these in the sale.
    The unit runs both directions and the lights work.
    Probably done to showcase the Electrontic e unit circut board and can motors.
    One screw holds the body in place.
    Sold as is.
    Cond. Is C7 or better.
    I also bought a docksider cutaway out of the same auction that will be forsale at a later date.
